For John, it’s the guitar. And I only wish he’d had the whole set up with him, so I could have heard his playing! John’s mom contacted me a couple weeks ago regarding yearbook pictures, and we decided to see if John would go for some casual shots when he came to the studio – and he did! Thank you, John, for letting me play with the lights and for the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with you. Here’s one of my favorites from the day – hope you like it!
This is one of the reasons I LOVE senior photography. I love getting to know the kids who come to have their photos taken, and through my lens I see them differently that most folks probably do. I love finding their expressions, and when I get very lucky, I see them get lost in something they are passionate about. Watching John play this guitar today was one of those moments for me. My job is so much fun it’s really hard to call it a job sometimes!
Bring your hobby, your sport, your style…when you get your senior photos taken, they are so much more YOU if you bring more of you to the session. Make your high school senior photos truly reflect who you are at this time in your life, and I’ll help you find a great way to showcase that in a photograph.
