Once again, I bring you Caitlin, recent graduate of Loudoun Valley High School. She is SO incredibly easy to work with, totally up for anything I come up with (even sitting in front of a very smelly dumpster!- what a trooper). I was disappointed at first when I got to Franklin Park about 30 minutes before our session start time as NOTHING was blooming, and honestly, the park wasn’t looking it’s best. I walked the grounds looking for angles and options and finally went back to sit and wait in the air conditioned car. I was starting to panic a bit until I looked around and found that dumpster, then all of a sudden I realized we can turn even the most mundane things into great backdrops with willing subjects! We used the fishing pond, the grassy areas, the dumpster, one of the wooden bridges, the gazebo, and then went to the far back corner and found a fantastic red equipment “shed”/barn. The last minute addition of a rusted fence gate rounded out our evening and all told, once again I have TOO MANY images to narrow down through, LOL.
But you all know I LOVE working with seniors, so having a willing participant in a session who is up for just about anything, (and beautiful to boot!), it’s hard to call a session over. I create havoc for myself afterwards but it usually means my clients get LOTS more options than they expect to get.
This session is no exception. I’ll have your full gallery up here shortly, Caitlin. In the mean time, here is a quick summary of our evening….enjoy it!
And don’t worry, we have full length shots too in the gallery!
If you’ve stopped by and seen this, PLEASE leave a comment so I know you were here!
