I had the pleasure of being asked to get some candid shots of the auditions for the upcoming production of Oliver at Loudoun Valley High School. I’ve worked with the drama club in the past on a few productions and being asked back is very gratifiying, but more so is seeing the kids who actually appeciate the efforts of volunteers. I love working with Loudoun Valley, the staff and parents, and the kids are just wonderful. I’ve had so many occassions to be surprised still by the kindness and the courtesies that are still evident in this once small town school. I’m a very proud alumni parent of two graduates from Valley and having a chance to see the current student body and to continue to work with the staff that made my own children’s years at Valley exceptional is a real blessing. So thank you LVHS – for the opportunity to watch you shine!
So here are just a few of the candids I took while being awed by the talent pool at Loudoun Valley High School once again. I will be posting these and more to my Facebook account later today for anyone who wants to grab them, and if you are so inclined, a comment is always appreciated. If you aren’t a friend of mine on Facebook, I’m happy to add you. If I haven’t tagged you, please feel free to tag yourself.
For anyone interested, Oliver casting is announced next week, and the production is scheduled for early December. I’m sure you’ll see more of this production in the next couple of months! Thanks for looking….. And if you aren’t already a Drama Club Booster at LVHS, here is how you can support the program….
