Last post of 2009 {Loudoun County Photographer}

So it is time to close out 2009 and I’m finding it more difficult than I thought it would be to do.  I had a great year in 2009, with so many new friends and opportunities than I ever felt I would have when the year started.  I had goals for 2009, but I never expected to exceed those goals by the margins that I did, nor to have grown in so many ways personally.  The personal growth was a HUGE bonus for me, and I owe it all to my loving and supportive husband, Marty, my boys Josh and Matt, my amazing friends and cheerleaders and the other photographers I’ve met and networked with who so freely share their experiences and knowledge.  I will repay the kindness all have shown me by passing on the good, I promise.  Thank you seems like so little to say – but it does come from the heart.

So what does 2010 hold for me?  More goals, for sure!  Growth in my Senior business, Maternity & Newborn business, and the introduction of my Wedding business.  Expansion of my studio work, streamlining my policies and procedures even more, and adding offerings for my clients.  You will see a new shopping cart system for ordering online, improvements to my online forms and paperwork processing, and even more marketing.  I’m on the hunt for the perfect studio space, but I’m a truly picky person, so that one might be the biggest challenge.

I also have an idea brewing for another area of specialty to add to my offerings…I hope to be able to introduce a new area very soon…but for now, I’ll tease you a little by saying the new line is ALL about making women feel beautiful.  Fun, flirtatious, and beautiful.  Care to guess what I’m thinking????

And you will also see a new type of post periodically on photography tips.  I want to find quick and easy ways to help YOU make your photos better, so I’ll be giving tips and tricks to you about once a month or so and I hope you’ll help me by emailing me any questions or concerns you have that I might be able to address, or help you find the answer if I don’t know the answer.  I look forward to helping YOU make your shots better.

I’m off to Disney World again next weekend, so you’ll be seeing lots of Mickey again shortly here on the blog.  But it is a working vacation, so please don’t hesitate to call or write if you need anything!

When will I see you in 2010?  I hope it’s soon….in the mean time, here are just a couple of my last trip to Disney – hope you enjoy as I share the magic!
