There a cool-ness to the air, drizzle is falling, and it’s getting dark earlier and earlier. I can finally see some color in the leaves on the trees, and if we don’t get too much rain, the leaves will hold on for a bit.
I love Fall. For so many reasons…it’s like a watercolor outside my window, and the portrait park is gorgeous at this time. I love the cooler temperatures, and love the pace of the season in my business keeps me hopping!
I work hard at this time of year, I won’t lie. With sessions nearly every day, a rainy day like today is often bad news. Fortunately, my sessions for today rescheduled well, which might or not be a problem if it’s rainy later in the month, but that’s a chance I have to take. For the backdrop we’ll have at this time of year, I’ll take that chance.
Take a moment and watch the leaves on the trees through the rain. The colors saturate so beautifully – colors you may not have seen in the sunshine will pop today. And that’s beautiful.
