Being invited to photograph a wedding is a priviledge I don’t take lightly. Big or small, weddings are all treated with the same care, attention, and detail. Equipment is very important, but truly it’s experience you want in a wedding photographer. Because even if they arrive with a bag full of gear, if they don’t know what lens to have on the camera at the right moment, it just doesn’t matter. Sometimes a fleeting moment becomes “the” shot. And when the moments are moving fast, there is no time for “wait, let me change lenses here”…. Small weddings move faster, and therefore the need to anticipate the “action” if you will is even more work. But with clients like Genny and Brandon, and their family and friends, making every moment count is not only a little bit easier, but so very rewarding!
For Genny and Brandon, a small wedding in Leesburg at the Norris House Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful setting for their story to begin…their own once upon a time….
The ceremony in the conservatory was warm and intimate – and being closely surrounded by family and friends in the beautiful location was idyllic. Reception following at the Eiffel Tower Cafe across the “street” was just as intimate and just as warm and inviting.
Genny and Brandon, you had a beautiful wedding and I wish you only the very best…here is a teaser of your gallery as I know you are going to want to relive this day over and over again for the rest of your lives…thank you for letting me be a small part of your day…
And so the happily ever after begins…..
