Yup…it’s ready for pictures. The dirt was moved, trees removed, rocks placed, plumbing set, filled with water, plants planted…and voila! A waterfall scene worthy of a postcard…or at least a few wonderful family photos, and senior portraits, LOL.
When I “dreamed” of this concept I never in my wildest imagination thought I could find someone to put into reality what I wanted in my head. But I wanted a place that was both picturesque AND functional. It needed to enhance my own property because my business is here at my home so much of the time, but it also needed to be “on it’s own”. This location and this end result fits ALL of my criteria. (And remember, this is only Phase ONE of the projects for this year. I do have a few more tricks up my sleeve for you, so stay tuned for the whole scoop!)
Wildwood Landscape in Purcellville, VA and their team of amazingly talented landscape designers, project managers, and artisans with rocks and plants have transformed what was once just grungy looking wood line to a feast for the eyes. It just has to be seen to be believed…but trust me, the scale of this project definitely gives the 50-75 year old trees around it a run for their money!
So without further ado, here is the finished project. Thank you for following along and “listening” to my rambles…I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey – I tried to share the highlights between other tasks of the business running. It’s been a wonderful journey…
