Family memories are made every day and they last a lifetime – especially when you take the time to record the way your family looks. A family photo is that opportunity – a chance to record the image of your family. And those images are just as important if your kids are teenagers and about to leave the “nest” to go off to college as they are when your children are little and changing every single day in so many ways. Family dynamics being what they are, it’s hard to get everyone in one place at one time to sit for a photograph, I know. I have two young men myself and they HATE to sit for the family photographs we use for our holiday cards every year. But we “muster through them” and I treasure those photos.
I really LOVE when I get a call for family photographs. I LOVE giving other families the same opportunity to freeze time with their family “image”. And this family was really FUN. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon I arrived at their home, and enjoyed a few minutes of time with the mom, Janice, as we toured the house and grounds to find locations that would be fun and memorable in their photos. I was immediately drawn to this mother – she is gracious and fun, kind and I bet, a loving mother to Lauren and Brian. And to see Janice and Bob together, it’s easy to see that this family has probably had many, many, memorable moments over the years. And on Saturday, I had the chance to be part of recording some family photographs for them.
Here are a just a couple from your session to tide you over for a few days…enjoy them and share them – but most of all, I hope you LOVE them….
