Christy, the importance of accessorizing senior pictures

Senior portraits have come a long way!  They are no longer just the traditional headshot with the big smile that most of use might remember.  These days high school senior pictures run from the traditional tux or drape shot to fun, personality filled sessions!

Christy came looking for something classic…but also fun.  She wanted to bring great clothes and accessories and find the perfect poses and images to fit it all.  When she arrived with this amazing dress, mask and jewelry – I had no choice but to go a bit hollywood…the gloves might have been the tipping point for me on that one, LOL.

Christy had the popular Split Studio session type – so she had up to 3 hours of time to split between the indoor studio and the outdoor studio area – the Portrait Park.  We had beautiful light and weather for the outdoor portion and were able to capture some vintage looks for her also.  And we had a little extra time to try out a brand new area – the upper garden.  We’ve been working overtime to get the upper garden going and ready for this summer’s seniors and it’s coming along beautifully!
