Wow it was cold on the day of this proposed session – so we postponed a week and it was better – mid 40’s, less wind…so not so bad, LOL. This family was a trooper as I dragged them all over their property and even down a slippery slope – sorry, Lisa! – to get the background I wanted and had “visioned” for their session. I loved having the opportunity to stop by their home prior to their session so I could see the site and plan for their images. It always helps a session to do the Pre Planning so I advise it for all clients!
I’ve sorely neglected my blog in recent weeks, and believe me it isn’t for lack of work…I’ve been swamped with last minute seniors for the yearbook and orders for holiday cards, etc. And to complicate matters my computer has decided to have a major display issue so it’s going back to Apple (yes, again), tomorrow. It’s a major pain to have to go to backup, because as much as we are prepared, we’re never REALLY prepared with everything in two places to keep working…so in between everything else, a computer dying is not well received. This family has been so wonderful – first the cold session, and the crazy ideas the photographer has to set up the poses…then the delay in getting what should have been a fast gallery, and now, a very late blog post…I’m so sorry folks!
Without further ado…here are the Cannaday family!
