Baby Blake was an absolute angel baby, and I might just be jinxing myself as I write this before I head off to my second newborn in two days, but it must be said. Blake loved to sleep! He didn’t like hats, though…at least not mine! But he was such a good baby, and I’m once again reminded of why I do this – that sweet baby smell and the chance to cuddle the little ones – and then give them back when they are messy, LOL. Baby Blake put up with a lot of moving around, and only let us know he had needs when he wanted his meal…but who can blame him, right?
With every baby I learn something new…with Blake, it was to not do the ring shots at the end of the session, when baby is done with me! I think he would have thrown those beautiful rings across the room if I gave him a chance, he was so done with photos. But who can blame him? 10 days old and the papparazzi was all over him for 4+ hours!
One of the reasons I love working in my studio with newborns is that I can be really versatile and change things up really quickly with changing needs. In this case, I had three “set ups” ready to go, and more to move in and out as the session progressed. And Blakes parents, Travis and Pegah were right there to try to steal that little one away from me any time I didn’t want to hold him. But alas, it was MY turn, guys! You get him all the time, I only had 4 hours to cuddle….
Without further ado, here is Baby Blake’s preview – for two very eager and waiting parents….enjoy it guys….
