Another senior in the studio! …. {Northern Virginia Senior Portraits}

Katie came for her studio session last week and we maximized some of the changes to the studio I recently made to be able to offer her more backdrops in one session.  I’m excited about the changes we’ve made as it means the drops and set ups most often used with certain clothing styles & portrait styles are all in one place – this means we can do more in less time because we aren’t completely moving from one end of the studio to another – BONUS!  More setup options means more value for clients and I’m working hard to make my sessions the best value for my clients possible.

Katie is a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and found me through a referral from a friend.  She wanted a fun, casual photo session and to that end brought me fun, casual clothing to work with.  I mixed it up a bit for Katie and gave her a bit of classical with a bit of modern, and her gallery reflects it!  Here is a sneak peek for Katie and the world – hope you find these to your liking, Katie!

If you are a high school senior, or parent of a high school senior, don’t let the school photos be the only option for your family.  Remember, this is most likely the last school portrait that will be taken of your child, unless you have them done in college – so make it worth doing.  The school will not take the time to get to know your child and find combinations of expressions and backdrops that compliment them – only an independent professional will do that for you.  Make senior photos a fun experience for your student and everyone will be happy with the  results!
