I love working with high school seniors for their senior portraits. And I recognize there are a LOT of options out there for seniors with their senior portraits today. So I work hard to make sure each senior that comes here has a great experience. This boy stands out – because this was his THIRD senior portrait session.
Yup, third senior portrait session. First one with the school- mom even bought the images – but they were “blah”…and didn’t bring his real personality or expressions out. Then a friend who knew a photographer – so they went all in for the second session. But Andrew and mom both felt that the resulting images weren’t perfect yet, either. So they happened to find a friend, who recommended they give me a call. I’d worked with the other person’s son, and they loved their images. So mom and Andrew came out, and we met, toured the grounds, and they decided to give it one more try.
I enjoyed working with both of them so very much. They brought his musical instruments, his new college spirit wear, and lots of clothing options. So we had a full session, and the resulting proof gallery was full of great options for them.
Then I wait…to see if the client likes them too. And YAY! They did! Mom liked them all so much, she ordered a custom book – AND a wall portrait, and more. I am so happy that mom now has images she can look at over and over again – forever – and see the boy she loves. And remember a great experience too.
